Infant Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle technique that helps the body heal naturally by releasing tension in the craniosacral system. This system surrounds the brain and spinal cord with fluid and membranes. During CST,  light touch and subtle movements are used to assess and address imbalances in this system. It's great for infants because they're sensitive to even small disturbances as they grow. CST can help with:

- Birth trauma
- Breastfeeding difficulties
- Colic
- Reflux
- Torticollis (a condition causing the head to tilt to one side)
- Plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome)
- Difficulty with latch while feeding
- Sleeping difficulties
- General irritability or fussiness

Additionally, CST can support infants and toddlers who undergo frenectomies, a procedure to correct tongue or lip ties. After the procedure, CST can help release any residual tension in the craniosacral system, promoting optimal healing and restoring balance. By easing tension and improving craniosacral function, CST complements the frenectomy process, enhancing the infant's comfort and supporting their ability to breastfeed or feed efficiently. Overall, CST offers a holistic approach to addressing a wide range of infant health concerns, including those related to frenectomies.
